Save yourself time and hassle by booking your evening meal 


Many of our guests find they enjoy our cooking so much they end up booking in for other nights during their stay.

It means that once you arrive after a long journey you can relax and unwind without having to get back in the car and drive into town. It also means you can indulge yourself and enjoy a glass or two of wine - after all you are on holiday



If you have special dietary requirements…


Just let us know in advance – we can cater for most dietary needs and food allergies. We also provide vegetarian meals.  


Don’t make the mistake that some of our customers have made…

We want you to enjoy your stay with us completely and benefit from all that La Platriere Retreat has to offer, so avoid disappointment by booking your meals in advance for your day of arrival, as we cannot cater for last minute requests for meals once you arrive. So its best to let us know before you arrive, preferably when making your reservation, along with any dietary requirements you may have.

We only use local produce or our own seasonal harvest from our organic fruit and vegetable garden.

And the next morning …

Wake up to a delicious Continental style breakfast and the smell of freshly made coffee. Let your taste buds tingle with the flavour of home made jams (all organic produce from our fruit trees and bushes) and local honey, spread on freshly baked croissants and bread made by at our local boulangerie – a real taste of France. Choose from a selection of cereal, and yogurts, fresh fruit and pastries washed down with hot coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

If this is not enough…

You can always order our full-english breakfast for a small supplement of 8 euros.

For guests staying on retreat or theme holiday packages – light lunches are provided.


Have fun eating outdoors with the family

Dinner is served at 8pm. There is a fixed price menu, which changes daily and with the seasons. Menu’s are displayed daily in the morning. You can see some examples of our evening menus below. Dinner can be ordered on the day before 10.30 am.

All meals are prepared on the premises with fresh, local produce and using products from our vegetable garden. A variety of flavours, incorporated within regional and international dishes are cooked at La Platriere Retreat and dietary requirements can be catered for with advance notice.

La Platriere Retreat is licensed to serve alcohol to residents and it is not possible for guests to consume their own food or alcohol on the premises.

Table d'hote - Menu's
All meals are prepared on the premises using fresh and seasonal, local produce and our evening menu is priced at 27,50 euros (includes tva).  This includes 4 courses – starter, main, cheese and dessert. Wine/beer can be ordered from our wine list. Aperitifs are also available at an additional cost from 6pm.

If you have special dietary requirements or wish for a vegetarian meal please advise us on booking.
